Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

This policy explains what AIYU collects when you use aiyu.org, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Information we collect

  • What you send us. When you submit the enquiry form we store your name and email address, plus anything else you choose to include — phone number, company, service, budget, timeline and project details.
  • Technical logs. Our API records the IP address and browser user-agent attached to a submission. This is used only to detect spam and abuse, and is never shown publicly or shared.
  • Usage data. Analytics is currently disabled on this site, so no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is collected.

We do not collect payment card details on this website, and we will never ask for a password by email.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
  • To deliver and support a project you have engaged us for.
  • To send invoices and project-related communication.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your explicit consent.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers that make this site work — hosting, database, email delivery, image hosting and (if enabled) analytics — and only to the extent needed. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.

Cookies

With analytics disabled, this site sets no tracking cookies at all. Your theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can reference earlier conversations. Records related to paid projects are kept for as long as tax and contractual obligations require. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Admin accounts use hashed passwords and token-based authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply the same standards to our own data that we apply to our clients'.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@aiyu.org and we will respond within 30 days.

Third-party links

This site links to external services such as GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram and WhatsApp. Their privacy practices are their own, not ours.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
